Child Knocked Unconscious, Fractures Skull From Horse Kick

WEST MIAMI DADE (CBSMiami) -- A 5-year-old was left unconscious with a fractured skull Saturday after he was kicked by a horse in west Miami.
It happened near Krome Avenue and 136th Street.
Miami-Dade Fire said he suffered a skull fracture over his right eye and wasn't responding to anyone's voice. However, they couldn't give details surrounding the incident.
The boy was air-lifted to Kendall Regional Hospital as a trauma alert.
