MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Good news for the wife of Dolphins' player Brent Grimes.

Tamiko "Miko" Grimes' case is going to county court and she is now facing reduced charges.

A judge ordered the charges reduced on Friday to two misdemeanor charges - resisting an officer without violence and disorderly conduct.

Grimes nor her attorney were in court.

She had previously been facing charges of battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.

Grimes was arrested back in September, outside of Sun Life Stadium, before the Dolphins played the Buffalo Bills. Police said she had refused to comply to an officer's orders and head butted a female officer.

Following her arrest, her husband spoke publicly about the incident saying, "I really don't want to talk about Miko. That will handle itself."
