CBS4's Lisa Petrillo Honored With Silver Circle Award

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - CBS4's entertainment and lifestyle reporter Lisa Petrillo was honored Sunday evening.

She was one of a handful of people to receive a Silver Circle award from the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The award is given to distinguished individuals who have contributed 25 years or more of exemplary excellence to the television industry.

"And for all of us lucky to have talented people around us, like all of you, here some pretty remarkable things can happen and I've been blessed throughout my career to be surrounded by the very best, some of which you saw on that screen, and some of which are in this room right now," Petrillo told the audience after being given her award.

Also honored were Allan Farrell, Joseph Harzinski, Kelley Mitchell, Omar Romay and Willard Shepard.

The 28th annual awards ceremony was held at the Westin Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale.
