Caught On Camera: Juveniles Go For Joyride On Forklift

TAMARAC (CBSMiami) -- Five juveniles are under arrest after allegedly trespassing and taking a forklift for a joyride.

Broward Sheriff's Deputies said the five juveniles broke into an a Tamarac business, located at 9439 Commercial Boulevard, on April 12th.

Meantime, surveillance cameras caught the whole thing.

Video shows them using their t-shirts to cover their faces and plastic bags on their hands as an effort to not leave fingerprints.

Three of them are seen climbing into the forklift doing donuts numerous times.

What the juveniles didn't know was that they had triggered the business' alarm.

Once deputies arrived, the boys ran off but were later arrested.

Deputies said the group also stole two fire extinguishers and set them off.

Four of the boys are facing charges for burglary, grand theft of a fire extinguisher and resisting without violence. One of the juveniles was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and was issued a civil citation.
