Car Drives Into North Lauderdale Home

NORTH LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A home in North Lauderdale was left uninhabitable after a car crashed through a wall of the house.

North Lauderdale Fire Battalion Chief Bill McRaff said the car went into a home on the 800 block of SW 75th Way in North Lauderdale. The accident happened around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Chief McRaff said no one was at home at the time of the accident. McRaff said the driver of the car suffered a minor injury due to the crash.

The building was ruled to be structurally unsafe after the accident. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the driver to run into the home.
