Canes Host Stetson In Coral Gables Regional

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) -- The Miami Hurricanes are looking to reach Omaha for the second straight year as they host the Coral Gables Regional against Stetson.

The Canes enter Regionals as the #3 overall seed in the NCAA Baseball Tournament, finishing the year as the regular season's ACC Champion with a 45-11 record. This year also marks an NCAA-record 44th consecutive tournament appearance for the Canes.

The Stetson Hatters finished the year 29-29 and went 9-12 in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Miami beat Stetson 4-2 earlier in the season.

First pitch is scheduled Friday, June 3rd at 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN3.
