MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Governor Rick Scott and First Lady Ann Scott voted Thursday morning in Southwest Florida.

The Governor and his wife were at the Collier County Public Library in Naples for early voting.

Democrat Charlie Crist voted early at a site in his hometown of St. Petersburg Monday which was the first day of early voting in Pinellas County.

A poll of likely Florida voters released by Quinnipiac University earlier in the week had Republican Gov. Rick Scott and Republican-turned-Democrat former Gov. Charlie Crist tied at 42 percent, while 7 percent say they'd vote for Libertarian Adrian Wyllie.

Early voting continues in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties ends November 2.
