MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Former state Governor Jeb Bush leads the race for the Republican presidential nomination in Miami-Dade, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by Bendixen & Amandi International for CBS4 news partners the Miami Herald and el Nuevo Herald, found 35-percent of GOP voters in Miami-Dade support Bush, 25-percent supported Senator Marco Rubio. None of the other GOP contenders cracked double digits in Miami-Dade.

When it came to Cuban-American Republicans, 43-percent said they supported Bush as opposed to 31-percent who said they supported Rubio, even though his is the son of Cuban immigrants. The only other Cuban American in the race, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, drew 7 percent support, but so did the "Undecided" category.
