BSO In Search Of Broward Flea Market Jewelry Thief

BROWARD (CBSMiami) - The Broward's Sheriff's Office is investigating a strong-armed robbery that took place in a flea market on August 31 and the suspect was caught on surveillance video.

Yelena Domatov, a sales associate at Janalls Jewelry in the Oakland Park Flea Market, said she was approached by a man in his early 20's.

Domatov said the man asked her to show him several items. The thief grabbed a gold chain from her hand and diamond pendant from the counter, and got away with both items.

BSO detectives said the robber jumped into a dark blue or black two-door coupe that was being driven by another person.

Anyone with information is asked to report to Crime Stoppers of Broward County at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $3,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
