BSO Deputy Involved in Accident In Sunrise

SUNRISE (CBSMiami) -- Rescue crews in Sunrise rushed a Broward Sheriff's (BSO) deputy, involved in an accident, to the hospital on Thursday.

It all happened at NW 2nd Street and 139th Avenue. Chopper4 was over the scene of the accident. A motorcycle was seen in the middle of the road.

Deputies said dispatch got a call about the crash just after 11 a.m. saying a BSO motorman was involved in a single-vehicle accident.

Chopper4 was also there as the deputy arrived by ambulance at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale.

Deputies said his injuries are non-life threatening.

Sunrise Police are investigating the incident.
