DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) – Officials in Broward County have arrested a man on 73-counts of identify fraud.

Reginald Ozah, 23, was arrested Wednesday at the Broward County Mail Jail.

Broward Sheriff's officials said the arrest stemmed from a search warrant executed in June  involving narcotics and firearms at Ozah's home which led to the discovery of numerous items related to identity theft.

A second warrant was executed that day in June to learn more about the items found.

Inside of Ozah's bedroom, deputies said they found a lock box with personal information of 73 people, including juveniles.

The personal information included personal identification cards and social security numbers on payroll documents.

Deputies also found counterfeit $10 and $20 bills.

Another person, William Ozah, also had a back pack with personal information of potential victims inside, officials said.

Neither of the men was arrested that day, but after an ongoing investigation, deputies made contact and arrested Reginald Ozah.

Officials said several victims have been located and the information was taken during robberies, armed home invasions and a stolen vehicle linked to several robberies in Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia.
