MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  A brush fire in southwest Miami-Dade burned at least 10 acres as of Wednesday evening.

Chopper4 was over the scene as the blaze burned at Larry and Penny Thompson Park, off SW 122nd Street and 176th street.

Forestry officials said crews were busy battling two brush fires for hours.

As of 5 p.m., fire officials said the blaze at the park was under control and another fire which was behind Robert Morgan Educational Center was still burning but seemed more under control.

As of Wednesday evening, Miami-Dade Police were redirecting traffic in the area of 127th Avenue and Eureka Drive.

According to Florida Forestry Service, they don't know what sparked the fire.

A little more than a month ago, crews were in the same area battling five brush fires that Miami-Dade Police say were suspicious in nature. Those fires burned about 20 acres.

No evacuations had been issued as of Wednesday evening.
