Missing Tamarac boy, 11, found safe in Pompano Beach, officials say

FORT LAUDERDALE - The Broward County Sheriff's Office said Saturday that a Tamarac boy who went missing earlier this week has been found safe and unharmed.

Jeremiah Ismael, 11, was last seen at his school, Rhema Word Christian Academy, at 2800 West Prospect Road, around 12:30 p.m. 

Officials said in a written statement that Jeremiah was located in Pompano Beach and was unharmed.

The sheriff's office did not immediately disclose additional details about how the boy was found or how he ended up in Pompano Beach.
