Boy Shot In The Neck On Palm Beach Street

WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) -Police are currently looking for three cars involved in a shooting which ended with a 12-year-old boy getting caught in the cross fire.

According to West Palm Beach Police, two vehicles, a 2014, white Jeep Cherokee (tinted windows and roof rack) and a 2003-2005 gold colored Toyota Camry (with Sunroof) were driving along the 400-block of South Congress Avenue, in West Palm Beach shortly before noon Sunday when they exchanged gunfire.

The 12-year-old, who was riding his bike, was struck  in the neck by a bullet during the shooting, according to the  Sun-Sentinel.

The boy was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center with what was termed as non-life threatening injury.

Police are also searching for  a third vehicle, a silver colored Saturn Aura four door with tinted windows, which may have also been involved.
