MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- With the election behind us, it's time to focus on other things - like art.

Just in time, Art Basel Miami Beach is coming to town.

The world-renowned art show is opening to the public starting Thursday, December 1st in the Miami Beach Convention Center. The annual show will remain open until Sunday, December 4th.

Part of Art Basel's show is their Public sector meant to make art accessible to everyone and open to those wanting to take a gander.

An exhibition that should be at the top of your list is one inspired by the late singer David Bowie who died earlier this year.

The exhibition, called 'Ground Control,' will invite viewers into new relationships with their surroundings using contemporary art.

Over 20 large-scale sculptures and installations by leading and emerging international artists will be installed at Collins Park in Miami Beach.

The Public sector of Art Basel in Miami Beach will open on Wednesday, November 30th at 8 p.m.
