Bosh Steps Up In Game 2 Of Playoffs

MIAMI (AP) — When Chris Bosh scores 20 points in the playoffs, the Miami Heat are nearly impossible to beat.

Bosh had exactly 20 in Miami's Game 2 win over Charlotte in their Eastern Conference first-round matchup on Wednesday night. Miami is now 12-2 in playoff games when Bosh scores at least that many.

All his points in Game 2 came in bunches. There were five points to get the Heat rolling early in the second quarter and five more in a span of less than a minute late in the half. Then a pair of 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions in the third quarter and a pair of baskets late in the fourth helped the Heat pull away.

The Heat lead the best-of-seven series 2-0, with Game 3 in Charlotte on Saturday.
