Border Patrol Releases Cuban Migrants Who Landed On Key Biscayne

KEY BISCAYNE (CBSMiami) -- The U.S. Border Patrol has released seven migrants who were found ashore at the southern-most tip of Key Biscayne.

Border Patrol agents said the group of men arrived Tuesday night at Bill Baggs State Park after a six day journey from Ciego de la Villas, Cuba.

They were taken to Dania Beach and released.

Another group of twelve males and one female were discovered in Marquesa Key. They said they left from Bahia Honda, Cuba on Monday.

And Wednesday morning, 14 men arrived in Key West from Havana.

They were all checked out and released by Border Patrol.
