MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Blue Bell has recalled all of its ice cream products that contain cookie dough that came from an Iowa-based supplier.

The move came after the cookie dough supplier, Aspen Hills, notified its customers that it may contain listeria bacteria contamination.

Aspen Hills' cookie dough was implicated in a recall by Blue Bell last month after the ice cream-maker said its tests confirmed the presence of listeria in the product.

The new Blue Bell recall involves half-gallons and pints of Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Blue Bell Cookie Two Step sold to retailers and three-gallon packages of Blue Bell Blue Monster, Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie and Blue Bell Krazy Kookie Dough sold to food-service clients.

The recalled ice cream was distribute in Florida and more than dozen other states.

Listeria can cause serious infections in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.
