MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A precautionary advisory to limit contact with water in Biscayne Bay has been expanded.

As of Friday, the advisory was expanded to Sunset Island 4 and Belle Isle. The advisory also continues south to Miami Beach Marina, including Star Island and Monument Island.

The advisory was issued on Wednesday when a waste water line, from Star Island to West Avenue, broke due to a marina construction.  The line was restored and made fully functional a day later.

Miami-Dade County Environmental officials said they will continue sampling waters throughout the weekend.
