Billy Joel Ringing In New Year At Sunrise BB&T Center

SUNRISE (CBSMiami) -- The Piano Man is set to rock South Florida with a New Year's Eve concert at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
With more than 150 million records sold over his five decade career, Billy Joel ranks as one of the most popular entertainers in history. The singer/songwriter/composer is the third best-selling solo artist in the U.S. and one of the highest-grossing touring artists ever.
Last year, Joel performed a New Year's concert in Orlando. This year marks his first ever South Florida New Year's event.
The concert kicks off at 9:30 p.m. Thursday with a performance that will include renowned hits and classic album tracks from Joel's catalogue spanning a quarter of a century.
