Bedard On Tannehill: "It's Year Five, He Has To Get It Done"
Senior NFL writer for Sports Illustrated Greg Bedard joined the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM to preview the Dolphins upcoming season, talk about his experiences covering the NFL and other news around the league. He also discusses his Super Bowl prediction.
"I think it's going to be similar to recent history. I think they're going to be right around .500. I have them at 7-9 but I think that whole group [Jets, Bills, Dolphins] are going to be within a game of each other. I think they're going in the right direction.
"I don't understand why they didn't draft a better developmental quarterback.
"[Tannehill] is in his 4th year. The Dolphins have been in the mix every year. It's year five, he has to get it done."
"This is the kind of team that a quarterback needs to elevate for a game or two."
