Bay Of Campeche Being Watched For Possible Tropical System

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Meteorologists are watching an area of low pressure located over the southwestern Bay of Campeche for potential development into a tropical system.

The area has become more defined as it moves eastward to east-northeastward.

It has the potential to develop over the next two to three days.

An Air Force Reserve reconnaissance aircraft will investigate the system Tuesday afternoon, if necessary.

Chief Meteorologist Craig Setzer will have the latest at 5 p.m.
