"Batman" Sentenced In Child Porn Case

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A former Miami police officer who nicknamed himself "Batman" has been sentenced to 25 years in prison on child pornography charges.
Juan Roman, 57, previously pleaded guilty to charges of receiving and possessing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Roman was arrested in August 2014 after agents with Homeland Security Investigations found over 500 files of "suggestive of child pornography" on Roman's electronics, according to court documents.
Investigators found more disturbing video clips, including hidden videos taken in a bathroom and a kitchen of Roman molesting what appears to be a 6-year-old girl in 2012, prosecutors said.
Roman was rearrested in September 2014 on state charges of lewd and lascivious battery on a child.
Police said Roman had a Batman fetish and would dress up as the caped crusader.
