Barge Breaks Free, Washes Up On Singer Island

PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) - A strange site greeted beachgoers on Singer Island beach early Thursday morning.

A big, empty barge which had washed ashore.

A tugboat was pulling it near the Lake Worth Inlet when somehow it broke free.

The Coast Guard is now working to coordinate the removal of the barge from the beach.
