Backstage Chat With Cast, Creator Of CBS Hit "Mom"

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The CBS comedy "Mom" premiered last fall on Monday nights and became an instant hit.

In fact, CBS has already renewed it for a second season. The show stars Anna Faris, Sadie Calvano and Allison Janey whose characters take on serious subjects with humor.

The man behind the show is veteran comedy producer Chuck Lorre who said they like to bend all the rules of situational comedy. Lorre added that a big part of the show is redemption, something not usually associated with comedies.
