NEW PORT RICHEY (CBSMiami/AP) — A year old baby was injured after gunfire erupted outside a home where she was sleeping

Pasco County Sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said multiple shots were fired Sunday in a drive-by outside the girl's house in New Port Richey, just north of Tampa.

Doll says the child was struck in the wrist. She was taken to a hospital and her condition isn't thought to be life-threatening. The girl's name was not released.
