MIAMI (CBSMiami) – About 25,000 booster seats, sold online and at stores nationwide, have been recalled due to a fall hazard.

The OXO Nest Booster Seat, which comes in green, pink, taupe and orange, is being recalled because the stitching on the restraint straps can loosen which allows the straps to separate from the seat, which poses a fall hazard to the children.

The company, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, has received five reports of the stitching coming undone, releasing the straps after a child pulling on the strap or an adult tightening  the straps. No injuries have been reported.

Anyone who has one of the booster seats, which were sold at buybuy Baby, Toys R Us/Babies R Us, Amazon and more from September 2014 through April 2015, is asked to immediately stop using is and contact OXO for a free repair kid with redesigned safety straps and installation instructions.

For more information, call OXO at (800) 545-4411, email info@oxo.com, or go online to www.oxo.com and click on Customer Service.
