Authorities Working To Identify Body Found Following Storage Unit Fire

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) — The medical examiner's office is working to identify a dead body that was discovered following a fire at a Pompano Beach storage facility Monday morning.
A Broward Sheriff's Office news release says Pompano Beach firefighters responded to Storage Post Self Storage after a renter saw smoke coming from one of the units.
The release says rescuers forced their way into the unit to put out the flames. They found the body of a man as they moved throughout the unit.
The body was transported to the medical examiner's office to determine the man's identity and cause of death.
