Authorities Search For Men Who Jumped Off Boat At Port Everglades

PORT EVERGLADES (CBSMiami) – Authorities are searching for five men who were seen jumping off a boat as it pulled into Port Everglades.

The group, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office, reportedly jumped off the boat around 3 PM Wednesday.

BSO is working with the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and other agencies are working to locate the men.

The group reportedly swam toward John U. Lloyd State Park where they were seen getting out of the water, police said.

Officials are searching the area by ground, water and air.

Anyone who sees the men should report it to law enforcement.
