Retired Dolphins cornerback Patrick Surtain joined the Big O Show on WQAM on Monday to assess Miami's loss against Baltimore. Where does Surtain stand on coach Joe Philbin?

"You saw the moxie of the opposing coach yesterday -- John Harbaugh going for it on 4th and 1 on his own 35 with 10 minutes left in the third quarter," Surtain said. "We were put in a similar situation and we decided to take a field goal instead of giving those guys that extra push and say 'guys I believe in you, I think we can make it.'

"I just don't see that out of this coach. He's a conservative type of coach...As players, you want a coach who's out on a limb who's going to go for it, who has that confidence in you. And Philbin just doesn't possess that right now."
