Three Killed In Florida Helicopter Crash

PALM BAY, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) —  Three people died when a helicopter came crashing down in central Florida.

According to WKMG, the helicopter - operating out of Melbourne Airport - was reported around 1:30 p.m. in Palm Bay.

Officers said the helicopter was reportedly flying low and is an older military-style aircraft but was believed to not have been operating in any kind of military capacity.

According to Florida Today, the aircraft was reportedly fully engulfed in flames when it was found. Crews have since been able to put out the blaze.
