WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami/AP) — Events like Sunday's massacre in Orlando can give artists unique ways to express their feelings on the topic.

A California visual designer has covered the roof of his West Hollywood home with sprawled, unclothed mannequins in a statement about the mass killing in an Orlando gay nightclub.

ChadMichael Morrisette calls his work "No One Is Safe."

One mannequin stands in a contorted posture next to a scrawled sign that says, "50 DEAD PEOPLE #GunControl."

Morrisette tells local TV stations he wants people to see what so many bodies might look like, and he has the ability to do so.

Morrisette is a noted designer of window displays for top boutiques and has an extensive collection of mannequins.
