Arrest Made In North Miami Triple Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – North Miami Police, with the assistance of the United States Marshals, have arrested the alleged shooter who killed two people and injured another in North Miami nearly two weeks ago.

On April 12th, police responded to a call of a person shot near NW 127 St. and NW 8th Ave.

Upon arrival, authorities found three people shot. Two were pronounced dead on the scene and other suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

On Friday, detectives arrested the alleged shooter 23-year-old Aren Evans Lenton.

He is being charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

The investigation is ongoing.
