He is currently in custody on unrelated charges and faces additional charges that include two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of first-degree attempted murder with a firearm.

Surveillance video captures Pompano Beach quadruple shooting

Surveillance video captured the chaotic moments when the gunfire erupted. In the video, one man is seen running for cover, he then comes back with what appears to be a gun. Another person can be seen limping away as the shots rang out.

It also shows a body tangled in a bicycle and smoke coming from inside the store and someone running outside before he trips, falls, and then runs away.

"Mercilessly. With a total disregard for human life. They're a menace to society," said Sheriff Gregory Tony.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, a man and a woman were taken to Broward Health North where they died. They've been identified as 35-year-old Dayvon Johson of Pompano Beach and Delana James, 31, of Fort Lauderdale.

"It's so sad because my son was a loving father. He has four kids. He would've given you the shirt off his back," said Lisa Sneed, Dayvon's mother.

"Don't allow madness in our streets, in our communities," said Ryan Johnson, Dayvon's father.

Investigators are still looking for several others involved in the shooting who they consider armed and dangerous.

Sheriff Tony had a clear message for those still out there.

"Rest assured we know who they are and we're coming for them," he said.
