MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Police have made an arrest in the Christmas Day killing of a man at a gas station in Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale police had been looking for Sapp since they say he was captured on surveillance tape on Christmas Day at a Westar gas station on Broward Boulevard at Northwest 7th Avenue.

Detectives say Sapp confronts the victim 44-year-olf Emmanuel Watts as he gets out of his car and shoots him multiple times.

On Wednesday, Sapp appeared before a judge in bond court and stood in silence.

Police say about a minute before the confrontation, Sapp is seen arriving at the gas station and then waiting in his car.

The judge says there is enough evidence to support the charges.

On Facebook the loved ones of Watts shared their heartbreak.

Less than 24 hours before the shooting, Watts was seen taking Christmas photos with the love of his life, who said a good man was killed and Christmas will never be the same.

It appears that Watts was targeted.

CBS4 asked Fort Lauderdale police if they could talk about this crime and the connection between the two men.

They said they could not because the case is under investigation.
