Arrest Made After 3-Year-Old Is Nearly Kidnapped At Airport

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Police have arrested a man accused of trying to abduct a little girl at Miami International Airport on Tuesday.

Detectives said Cuong Nguyen, 42, approached a family who had just landed from Argentina, grabbed their three-year-old child's wrist while she was at the water fountain and tried to leave the building.

The child was able to get away and run back to her parents, just a few feet away.

Nguyen was arrested a few minutes later. According to the arrest report, Nguyen admitted to police that he "likes kids" and chose the victim because he "thought she looked cute."
