Armed Man Robs BB&T Bank In Tamarac

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - The FBI has released surveillance pictures of a man wanted for a bank robbery in Tamarac.

The man, dressed in jeans, a red/white pattern shirt and a black hat, walked into the BB&T bank branch at 4211 W. Commercial Boulevard just before 10 a.m.

He walked up to a teller, displayed a weapon and demanded cash. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount and he left the bank.

The FBI said it is too early in their investigation to link this robber with other recent bank robberies in the area.
