MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Tropical Depression #9 is history. That however doesn't mean the rain is gone. In fact, Thursday's forecast is a bit tricky and wet.

A cool front is just to our north with cooler and drier air.  We are south of that front, where a tropical air mass dominates, for now.

Throughout the day, there will be on and off light to moderate rain, with areas of heavy rain developing.  Some localized flooding is possible through Thursday night.

The wind today will also increase and shift becoming ENE at 10 - 20 m.p.h.

Out on the water, small craft should exercise caution as bays coastal waters become choppy.

Friday features a drier scenario as the deepest moisture shifts to the south and east.

The heavy rain and storm threat should wind down by this point.

Saturday, the clearing and drying trend dominates along with breezy conditions. Saturday's clearing trend makes way for a nice transition for the second half of the weekend and a sunny Sunday, which many enjoy as "Sunday Funday"!

If you're traveling today, it's much cooler across the southeast and breezy and cool in the northeast.
