Anaconda Found Sunbathing In Melbourne Resident's Yard

MELBOURNE (CBSMiami) -- A Melbourne woman got the surprise of her life this week after discovering a big sunbathing snake in her backyard.

Leisa Remsberg said she was walking her dogs out back when she noticed the 9-foot anaconda laying right in front of her.

"I noticed something large in the yard. My one dog ran right over to it and the snake reared its head," Remsberg exclaimed.

Her neighbor came to the rescue, using a shovel to pick the snake up and drop it in a container until animal services could arrive.
