MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A Florida Amber Alert, issued Tuesday morning for a 16-year-old reported missing and possibly in danger, has been canceled.

Authorities were asking the public to keep an eye out for 16-year-old Marcus Hatch after victims of a home invasion had seen him held at gunpoint while two other men ransacked their home on the 100 block of Great Harbor Way in Ponte Vedra Beach overnight.

The men along with Hatch, still held at gunpoint, left the home in a stolen car, a 2009 gray Subaru Legacy with the Florida tag# 'AKN6Z,' according to deputies.

By Tuesday afternoon, the Amber Alert had been canceled. St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said Hatch is safe and back in Jacksonville.

Deputies say they were meeting with Hatch to get more information.
