Alianza de Futbol Soccer Amateurs Play For Liga MX Contracts

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Throughout the month of October, thousands of amateur soccer players will be in Miami to compete for a spot on a professional team.

More than 4,500 soccer players throughout the nation tried out for a spot in the Alianza de Futbol National Finals. Of the competitors, the top 48 athletes were picked to go head-to-head in the October games to land a spot in the league.

The players will have the opportunity to receive one of seven 7UP Sueño Alianza professional contract offers with Liga MX clubs. There will also be professional league scouts at the games, who will slect players to invite for team tryouts.

The soccer matches will take place at KICS International Sports Complex, located at 3003 N. University Drive in Sunrise on the following dates:

  • Thursday, October 2nd 4:00pm – U16 Game
  • Thursday, October 2nd 5:30pm – U19 Game
  • Friday, October 3rd 4:00pm – U16 Game
  • Friday, October 3rd 5:30pm – U19 Game
  • Saturday, October 4th 2:00pm – U16 Game
  • Saturday, October 4th 4:00pm – U19 Game
  • Saturday, October 4th 8:00pm – Closing Ceremony

Alianza de Futbol is the largest amateur Hispanic soccer program in the United States. The organization hosts other programs such as RAM Copa Alianza, Kellogg's Copita Alianza, and the 7UP Sueño Alianza.
