Airboat Crash Sends Two People To The Hospital

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Two women were taken to the hospital Tuesday following a boat collision in the Everglades.
Broward Sheriff's Office Marine Unit is investigating a crash in the Everglades between a private airboat and a biologist's airboat from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Rescue units were dispatched to the boat ramp at 35000 Everglades Parkway in western Broward shortly before 1 p.m., according to BSO.
Fire rescue transported two women, one from each boat, to Broward Health Medical Center.
None of the injuries are life-threatening, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
