LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) - An investigation is underway after a fire in Lauderhill apartment.

Just before 4:45 a.m. Lauderhill Fire received a call about the fire at 2768 NW 58th Terrace.

The fire started in a unit where an adult and two children were sleeping, all three made it out safely. The Red Cross is now providing them assistance.

No word on what sparked the fire.
