MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Acura has recalled two models of their SUVs because the automatic emergency braking system can malfunction.

The recall involves just under 48,000 MDX and RLX SUVs from the 2014 and 2015 model years.

According to Honda, which makes Acura vehicles, the system can become confused and step on the brakes when it detects another vehicle accelerating in front while driving along an iron fence or metal guardrail.

The company said it has no reports of accidents or injuries due to the problem.

Dealers will update the system's software at no cost to owners.
