MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- We're seeing rain to wind and much colder temperatures this weekend as a cold front cleared South Florida late Friday night.

In its wake, high pressure builds in, bringing a gusty West-NorthWest wind. A Wind Advisory is in place through 5 p.m.

High-profile vehicles will be challenging to drive, especially on bridges and overpasses. Outdoor furniture will be bounced around along with branches and palm fronds.

Secure any loose objects subject to wind.

Saturday night, the coldest air of the season filters down the peninsula, with some areas dipping into the lower 40's. Even the metro areas are likely to feel the shiver, with mid to upper 40's expected between 4:00 - 6:00 a.m.

Gale warning for coastal waters and a rip current risk. Remember the fire safety rules when it comes to running space heaters.

Stay warm and cozy South Florida.
