6 Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-95 In Deerfield Beach

DEERFIELD BEACH (CBSMiami) – A multi-vehicle crash on I-95 left six people injured, including minors.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, Deerfield Beach Fire Rescue units were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. to the northbound side of I-95, north of Sample Road.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue airlifted a 3-year-old male in critical condition who was ejected from one of the involved vehicles to Broward Health Medical Center.

An 11-year-old girl was also airlifted to the same hospital with less serious injuries.

Authorities also said that a 65-year-old man was transported to Broward Health North by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue ground rescue with critical injuries.

Additionally, three adult females were also ground transports to Broward Health North with non-life threatening injuries.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
