5 Inmates Hospitalized After Overdosing On Flakka

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Fire Rescue said five people at the Miami-Dade Pre-Trial Detention Center overdosed Tuesday night on what paramedics were told was flakka.

Four of them were treated there by paramedics, while the fifth had to be rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

It is unknown how they were able to obtain the drugs.
