3k Reward For Info On Deadly Hollywood Hit & Run

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) -- Broward Crime Stoppers is asking for the community's help to solve a deadly hit and run in Hollywood and are offering some motivation.

The group announced Thursday they are offering an up to $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a driver who hit and killed Ebonie Powell.

Authorities said the driver hit Powell on November 22nd at 12:35 a.m. near Mayo Street and South 56th Avenue.

The driver was last seen going South on 56th Avenue.

Powell's family is hoping someone will take responsibility.

"We need to start being human beings," said her cousin Curtis Burrows. "We forgive him, hopefully they forgive hisself. Be accountable, be a man, or a woman!"
