34th Annual King Mango Strut Swaggers Down Coconut Grove

COCONUT GROVE (CBSMiami) -- Coconut Grove's annual parody parade strutted down the streets Sunday bringing a satirical take on this year's news-making stories.

This year's theme, The Farce Awakens, was inspired by the new Star Wars movie.

Hundreds marched in costume drawing hilarious attention to key issues like sea level rise and solar power initiatives to the inflated prices at Art Basel.

Other parade performers included Trump's Trolls, Cuba's Castro brothers, Selfies for the Self-Absorbed and a Black Bears Matter group.

The parade kicked off at 2 p.m. with the famous "dropping of the banana" and included music, food and fun for the entire family.
