Terminal At Port Miami Evacuated Over Antique Compass

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A terminal at Port Miami were evacuated Wednesday morning after an antique compass was discovered by Customs and Border Patrol agents emitting some radiation.

Miami-Dade Fire helped evacuate the terminal and said the unknown substance was in a bag. The bag was found around 9 a.m.

When Chopper 4 arrived on scene, there were passengers still on ships that had yet to disembark and other people standing around on shore waiting for further direction.

An all-clear was given at the scene around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
